BCN Design Week: Transforming society

The international event revolves this year around the power of design and innovation to shape a different present

The Barcelona Design Week is back! Organised by Barcelona Design Centre, the unmissable event for professionals, students, companies and entrepreneurs from the world of design, and, obviously, for the citizens of Barcelona, holds its 12th edition from 6th to 14th June with the Disseny Hub as the main stage. With the title Transforming society, this edition approaches design as a tool capable to create a decisive impact on the society and on the quality of life of people. 

The programme includes more than 100 different activities, from talks and round tables to presentations, exhibitions, art shows, tours and installations, as well as networking and other business events.

The events located in the Design Hub are accompanied by the BDW City and the Poble Nou Design Day, consisting of parallel activities organised and hosted by agents related to design from different neighbourhoods of Barcelona: professionals, studios, galleries, showrooms and agencies that open their creativity to the city.
