Talent is back! Meet our Alumni Gigi Vives
The influencer and former student Gigi Vives is visiting IED Barcelona this Thursday 2nd May
The Share Your Talent event is back! This Thursday 2nd of May IED Barcelona has the pleasure to host a very special guest: Gigi Vives. She completed the BA in Fashion Marketing & Communication in 2015 and is an Alumni from the Management & Design Strategies School (IED). However, you might also know her as a trending influencer and content creator (and if you don’t, check her Instagram here!).
If you are interested in learning more about her job, Gigi will explain the challenges of combining creativity, channel and a personal brand. She will also talk about the experiences she has faced in the job market and how she has put into practice the knowledge gained in IED.
The moderator of the talk will be Gabriela Pedranti, lecturer from our BA in Fashion Marketing and Communication and from our Diploma in Business Design. Her contributions and comments will be much appreciated, since she was Gigi’s teacher during her university career and is an expert in different fields such as fashion journalism or end-to-end communication.
Definitely, a great opportunity to know what being an influencer really means and the hard work that hides behind famous Instagram accounts. We can’t wait to listen to Gigi’s experiences and challenges!
